An automatic fire extinguishing system based on M-TU turbine axial foam dispensers (foam mixers) manufactured by Matre Maskin AS (Norway) was implemented in the seaport of Ust-Luga at the facilities of the berth zone of the Complex for transshipment and fractionation of stable gas condensate and products of its processing with a capacity of 6.0 million tons per year.

During the operation (since 2012), the reliability of this equipment, the simplicity of dosing foam concentrate and virtually no labor costs for its maintenance have been confirmed.However, we distinguish that in order to avoid malfunctions in the operation of the M-TU turbine axial dispensers, the use of fire filters on water supply pipelines (B2) is a prerequisite.

In 2015, LLC Korporatsia Sever acquired for OOO KINEF two vertical Antifire 1000V Bladder Tanks manufactured by GC Pozhneftekhim.

By June 2011, the company sharply raised the issue of replacing the existing gallery type rack with modern ones to meet all the rules and regulations, setting the clock loading of oil products in the railway tank. A number of problems arose in fulfilling the existing standards in fire safety (the impossibility of providing roundabout for fire equipment, the lack of fire safety standards when designing clock loading facilities, etc.).

Untimely removal of the above problems could lead to a halt in the shipment of petroleum products and, as a consequence, a refinery shutdown.

LLC Pozhneftehim specialists have proved themselves to be good in developing technical solutions for the fire protection system at the loading rack of the SNTNA installation, were able to develop Special Fire Safety Specifications (STC) in a short time (4 calendar months from the start of work to conclude the contract to the certificate of completion) and coordinate them with all interested parties, having obtained 6 approvals of various levels (from the general project organization to the Ministry of Regional Development of Russia).

Currently, the actual regulatory and legal framework for the fire protection of oil and oil products warehouses located in the territory of oil refineries and petrochemical enterprises (GOST R 12.3.047-98, SNiP 2.11.03-93, VUPP-88, etc.) provides for automatic foam fire extinguishing installations in HIL&FL tanks of a volume of 5000 m3 or more.

LLC Gazprom Pererabotka (Processing) Blagoveshchensk expresses gratitude to the specialists of LLC Pozhneftehim for updating and agreeing with the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation of special technical conditions for ensuring fire safety (hereinafter referred to as STC) as part of the development design documentation for the largest gas processing complex in Far East, the Amur Gas Processing Plant. Work on the STC approval was performed at a high professional level and in the shortest time possible.

CJSC PNT

During the activity of LLC Pozhneftehim at the CJSC PNT (Petersburg Oil Terminal) facilities, your experts carried out work in the following areas:

1. Development of compensatory measures with the coordination in the supervisory bodies of the joint discharge of light and dark oil products from one railroad rack (2005-2006),
2. Development of STC (with subsequent coordination with the supervisory authorities) and participation in various stages of designing several start-up complexes in the design of the fire protection system for the tank farm of four tanks of the RVS 40000t type (glass in glass) in the reclaimed territory with the system tied up to the existing general plan of the terminal and existing fire extinguishing installations (2006-2011).
3. Supply of equipment and foam concentrates (2006-2011).
4. Participation in commissioning and handover of systems to supervisory authorities (2012).
